Covenant Guards welcome people as the enter the house of God and their role is to make them feel rewarding and prepared for the worship of God.
MISSION
To serve God and the Church by helping to create an atmosphere that prepares people to worship, hear and receive the Word of God for salvation and discipleship.
PURPOSE
The Ministry of the Covenant Guards is responsible for the sanctuary, starting from the interior doors. Greeters focus their attention in the vestibule area of the church. When a guest or member enters the doors of Grace New Covenant, a greeter should be waiting to provide a warm and genuine word of welcome and ac church bulletin. Greeters serves on the frontlines of the church's hospitality ministry and provide a positive first impression for guests and have a key role in setting the tone for the experience many people have at Grace New Covenant worship Center.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be an adult or youth member 14 years or older
- Have a servant’s heart
- Be physically able to stand for two hours
- Must be on post 20 minutes before service
